Heat applied Thermoplastic traffic paints contain a mixture of granular alkyd resin as binder, pigments for color and hiding power, glass beads for reflectivity, additional fillers and additives for enhancing other vital properties. DURA-Therm Alkyd CC ( approved for City County use ) is formulated using high quality alkyd resin that is very durable, has good adhesion to asphalt and concrete substrates, has excellent bead retention and retro-reflectivity and is impervious to the effects of petroleum products like oil, grease, diesel, etc. on road surfaces. These properties makes DURA-Therm Alkyd extremely durable on highly dense traffic areas such as: inner city streets and urban roadways. Packaged in granular form in 50 pound poly-ethylene bags that is melted along with paint and sprayed.
